Hey Dancers, this is an event not to be missed! You get to watch the show, experience a little of event management and enjoy this experience with their friends! We strongly encourage you to participate in this for CIP and it'll be a good time to bond and learn about other aspects of dance performance.


Greetings from Singapore Dance Theatre!

We are a professional ballet company and we are pleased to offer your students volunteering opportunities with SDT for our popular outdoor picnic/ ballet performance event Ballet Under the Stars, 15 – 17 July (Fri – Sun).

This is our biggest event of the year and it will be a great opportunity for your students to experience the operations of a performing arts event.

Event Details

Dates: 15 – 17 July (Fri – Sun)

Time: 3 – 10pm on Fri, 4.30 – 10pm on Sat & Sun

Venue: Fort Canning Park

Volunteers age requirement: 15 years old and above

*Dinner will be provided for all student volunteers

Each day we would require at least 60 volunteers a night to run this exciting event and here are the areas that they will be involved in:

Gate/Entrance/Exit Ushers

They will be the first point of contact with our patrons.

· Ticket tripping

· Giving directions

· Sale of Programme Booklets & Merchandise

Field Ushers

They will be patrolling around the field where patrons are seated.

· Look out for any patrons who need assistance

· Giving directions

· Sale of Programme Booklets & Merchandise

Merchandise Sales

They will be at our merchandise booth tent.

· Familiarize with merchandise prices

· Assist in sales of merchandise

Face Painting

· Assist in painting simple drawings on patrons who wish to participate.

Lucky Draw

· Assist in answering enquiries

· Help tend the booth
