Firstly, good job everyone for the tech run on Friday, 25 Apr. The next tech run is on 26 May. It's far but let's prepare ourselves and look forward to it. Apologies for the lack of pizza on Fri although it was meant to be a bonding dinner. :) Anyway, reminder to the people who have eaten the pizza and not paid up. Please take the initiative and pay $4 to Andrea. (Honesty is the best policy ya.)

SENIORS PRAC 26 Apr 08
For those who were not present, we standardised the first part of apologize and sort of discussed about the costumes. Approach the dancers who were present today to find out the standardisations.

We are sticking to green as our colour theme for now. The bottom will be black long cargoes or pants that are similar to cargoes. Not too baggy. The top is varied but no short sleeves (like T-shirt) preferably. Try to design your top as creatively as possible. Can add blink blink to costumes. For girls, loop earrings that are not so big but thick. They must be either white, green or silver in colour. Costumes are to be out by the first practice after the J2/Ip4s common test. Bring costume on the very first practice.

There will be a session with Shi Wei on Wed (23rd) 330pm either at linkway or the area outside LT1, depending which is available.

2. Seniors Item Photoshoot
Bring your costume (black cargos n green top), make up, accessories (belt, earrings etc). We need to do our hair too to look more wild according to Shi Wei. So bring all neccessary equipment!

3. Studio Wu Recital
Please bring $21 (inclusive of some GST) on Wednesday to pay to Shi Wei. He's still absorbing some of the GST!

Seniors Item Practice (amendments are in GREEN)

Friday
Please bring the following things on Friday:
- any black pants (it can be cargos/baggy/ three quarters etc)
- a green shirt/tank/tube/halter/speg etc of any design (any shade of green will do) you may want to bring along a jacket to go with your shirt.

Please note that for the photoshoot next Monday, we would be unable to finalise the final costume due to lack of time. Very sorry about that. But for photoshoot, this would be the attire for everyone. Everyone doing seniors item is involved in photoshoot. If you do not have the clothes, please borrow them by Friday’s practice. At the most, for those who really cannot find, I will give you grace period till Saturday. Everyone’s attire for photoshoot has to be out by Saturday. I would not recommend anyone to buy a new clothes yet, for we would be buying our pants. The costume is subjected to change most likely.

Saturday
Practice will be from 9 to 1pm, DS2. J2s/IP4s having Chem SPA, report straight after SPA. Everyone needs to be present on Saturday’s practice, regardless of injury or minor sickness.

For every practice in future, if you are unable to make it, please inform Hui Ting or Priya. Also, all J2s IP4s, by Friday’s prac, inform Hui Ting about your subject combination.

apologies regarding the late notification of things pertaining to Aristal, as coordination between all 4 dance groups involves a bit of lag time. We'll try to confirm stuff sooner, but do try to understand our constraints.

All J1s and IP1s please collate the number of orders for dance sweaters ( like get a representative to do it or something), and let the ExCo know the number by the end of this week.
Regarding the Dance Shirts, calling for all the artistically inclined to submit designs to Reg.

apologies for the late notification as we have just confirmed this also.

Aristal Vetting 1
For this Saturday 12 April, it will just be a rough showcase to gauge the progress of the item.
Time: 9-12
Venue: Gym
Attire: NJC Western Dance Tee or Black Orientation Tee

All dancers are to report to school at 8.30am in the linkway for warm-ups and preparation. There's no need to stay for the entire length of the vetting, so when we're not being vetted we'll use the time to practice the items. But there's no apparent order to the showcasing of the items, so we'll work out the schedule and then inform you all on the day itself the timings of your showcase.

ALL THOSE UNABLE TO MAKE IT FOR SHOWCASE, message your item ICs to let them know.
All those in combined item are not required to be in school for showcase due to combined rehearsal on that day.

All of Mr Dan's dancers please take note that we'll request for our vetting to take place at about 11 plus when Mr Dan comes over, and after vetting practice will continue as usual, but we will end early at 1pm as we'll have self practice in the morning.

Photoshoot
Also, everyone is to note that because all 4 dance groups are having difficulty coming up with the costumes on time, the photoshoot has been pushed back to next next week, probably to 21 April. All those involved in the photoshoot will be informed by the various Item ICs when to report/ what to bring etc.
