1) Schedule!
yes, you didnt see wrongly.
the exco would like to have your schedules for the holidays, in order to help us to plan certain things. :D
just simply sms your exco in-charge of the days that you will not be in Singapore. (try to be exact if possible. if not, just a rough idea will do as well. if by now you're still not confirmed, do inform us immediately when you confirm!)

2) Grad Night
haha, no surprise for the seniors but yes, WESTERN DANCE WILL BE PERFORMING FOR OUR DEAR SENIORS ON GRAD NIGHT! :D
so right now, also sms your IC if you are interested. :D

Putting aside the awesome response and turn up, plus bustling, packed, hardly-can-move-around school compound, we'd like to thank EVERY WD-ER for their help at the booth! special thanks to geek weizong, who came to try to attract guys, plus chew racheww for their time at the booth! and to seniors who came to visit us for the mere minutes ;)

To performers: hard work and sweat finally paid off, good job ;))

as some of you might be thinking of what the relay was talking about,
there will be this upcoming HIP HOP COMPETITION! :D
(but this will not be open to the IP2s taking O' levels Higher MT)


It's time to whip out your best moves because the "BREATHE: Dancebeatz" hip hop competition is here! Gather up your crew and groove your way to the top prize of $1,500!

Get creative and figure out a way to weave in the Breathe Philosophy into your dance routine.

The auditions are on the 1 November 2008, with the finals to be held on 7 November 2008.

The Exco would SPECIALLY like to thank ALL THE PEOPLE for their VERY MUCH APPRECIATED HELP during the sales!!

if you guys didnt know, they helped to set up the stall, managed the sales, encourage people to buy, and thanks to them, we managed to sell of EVERYTHING before 9pm!!! (ok so now when you meet them, say "ohmygosh,you rock!!"

and liyana and rachel would also like to thank all those who screamed and cheered for "Reviver" (the band's name) during their performance. we played better when we hear our names being shouted, seriously! we love you guys!

ok now to the updates.

1) Year-end party!
yes, as some of you (or maybe all) might know, there is going to be an year-end party on next fri, 10/10/08, from 1830! :D

this year, western dance have been invited to perform and we have decided to put up the STREETFEST ITEM!

the people who are chosen to do the item: Rachel, Liyana, Vanessa, Enid, Jeslyn, Hui Ting, Alvyn, Sherrilyn, Yvett, Grace and Aditi!
due to the lack of time, we have decided on these people as most of them are the ones that have done the item before. AND it's going to be an intensive week, because the party is on next friday.

Also, on that day itself, WD will be setting up a booth selling things, so we need help! (the more the merrier!)
so please do sms your in charge whether you can help out or not (YES PLEASE DO TELL US IF YOU CANT AS WELL) and what is the time that you can help out till. thanks! :D

2. Open Day
NJC Open Day is here again, happening on the 18th October!
According to popular demand (haha we go by majority), the 2 items that we will be sending is Streetfest HipHop item, and Dancing!
so now, your job after reading this is to choose your preference as of which item you would like to do, and from there, we will be choosing who to do which item! :)
and also, please tell us if you have any duties on that day, because we would need to come out with a DUTY ROSTER for everyone.

On that day itself, we will also require everyone to come down (provided that you dont have other duties such as usher etc), so do check the blog often for any updates on DUTY ROSTER for that day! :D

3. Hoodie/Jacket
For hoodies, now we've decided to open up an option for you all!
would you all like:
a. Keep the old design and only those who havent gotten the hoodie yet need to buy
b. Modify the whole design and
i. all get the new one
ii. only those who havent gotten the hoodie yet need to buy
c. An all new design!

since you are still reading this, it's still not too late to take out your phone and start typing in all your responses to your exco in-charge! SO TAKE YOUR PHONE OUT NOW, and poll. thank you!

SO AFTER YOU HAVE READ THIS, just a short summary of what you have to do.
take out your phone and sms your exco in charge the following:
- whether you are free on year end party day (next fri) to help out and if yes, what time you can help out till
- your preference of item as of which item you would like to do on Open Day and if you have other duties on that day.
- your choice for the new (or maybe not so new) WD jacket/hoodie etc.
