Thank you for all your effort, sacrificing many things for dance practices, enduring long hours of practices just surviving on sugar biscuits, thinking about dance during CTs.
Dancing at every single possible venue from the canteen extension to outside LT1 to the atrium.
The red jumpsuits, accessorizing, cyan and gold costumes.
It was that passion for dance and the love for WD that kept us going.
I'm sure it all paid off during that magical few minutes on stage.

Seniors Item Final Costume

Meet at 740am @ round tables on Tues tech run. Bring full costume n accessories.

Shiwawa: dancers to wear white jacket/crop over green shirt. Along with Retro accessories.
after Shiwawa, dancers to take off their retro accessories only.
Apologise: Shiwawa dancers will be in white jacket. The rest, non-Shiwawa ppl, to be in black jacket/crop or vest. The look here is CLASSY. Any jacket/crop that will make you look classy. Guys can wear last year Junior's item jacket.
Spice Girls: Put on all the bling you have: from necklaces to earrings to belts. Shiny Shiny stuff. Earrings preferrably dangling, in white or preferrably silver. So that they will shiiine.
I will always love you: those who are supposed to bring props for Wei Zong- fairy wings, flowers, etc.
Because of you and Shuang: our standard attire- Green and black cargos with ALOT of bling. Shiny earrings/necklaces/belts/bracelets/etcetcetc.

Basically, every one in the dance needs to be a seperate individual who can stand out with their accessories. So really adorn any bling that you feel will suit your look.

Make up: settled to blue eyeshadow and silver glitter. bring any shade of blue you feel is appropriate on tues tech run.

Hairstyle: random hairstyle. Take into consideration your other items. Also, to fling your hair, it needs to be let down to a certain extent. So, get ready your own hairstyles by tues morning!

9am to 11am: Technical Rehearsal (run through entrances and exits)
11am to 12.30pm: Lunch and if necessary, brush up of items
12.30pm to 1pm: change into costumes and prepare for full dress (no need for makeup except for peter teo's)
1pm to 4pm: Full Dress Rehearsal
4pm to 5pm: Finale Rehearsal
(subject to changes depending on progress)

9.30am to 10am: Combined Item stage marking and lighting
12noon to 1pm: WD stage marking and lighting (12-1230: Gn's, 1230-1: Peter Teo's)
1pm to 2pm: Lunch
2pm to 3pm: WD stage marking and lighting (2-230: Seniors', 230-3: Dan's)
6pm to 7pm: Dinner
730pm to 10pm: Technical Rehearsal
(in between, other dance groups are using the stage, and we'll practice items on our own)

315pm to 430pm: WD marking of stage (equal time for each item)

730pm: start of Aristal 2008

Please send songs you think are suitable and that you wish to dance to --> the excos in charge and for contemp, Audrey and Chu Yun too by Monday.
All choreography has to be done by this week, practices will start on the 31 MAY.
Audrey and Chu Yun, please show the entire choreography to Reg and Jer before saturday so that changes [if needed] can be made. Its your responsibility and initiative to figure out when you're going to finish and show it to them.
Those in hiphop the song to choreograph one eight to is CHURCH by T-Pain. [Its not the super fast one eight count k.... its the slower one-eight. COUNT CORRECTLY] Also the colour scheme is white, blue, black. As long as you have any of the 2 colours its fine. You do not need to have all 3 of them.




Streetfest will be held around evening on the 6 & 8 June, venue unconfirmed.



P.S Those going for Studio Wu's concert, don't worry. I'll let you guys dance on the 6th instead.

Seniors' Item people!

1)
standard costume for shuang: green top and black cargo pants.
all but those doing the spice girls part can wear black jacket if you want (but must have a balance of green and black. cannot use your black jacket and cover up your greeeeen totally!)
AND! all please do wear accessories, as requested by the choreographers. but one thing to note is that, please protect yourself! dont wear BIG bling blings that may hit you or others while dancing! :D

Starting
Costume for SHUANG underneath, then you wear a plain simple white tee over it.
for SHIWAWA people, you are all supposed to wear additional retro accessories such as retro sunglasses, hairband (like the one andrea brought today), and tie (with clashing colours)

Apologise
SHIWAWA people, when running, you are supposed to take off your addtional accessories. for the rest, this whole part will be done in the plain white tee.
(note: if you are looking for white tee, can try GIORDANO. kinda plain and cheap! :D but look for people to chip in too. they have offer!)

ARISTAL DVD ORDERS

Maybe many of you are wondering why you have not received your aristal DVDs yet. sorry about the delay. But it's basically because of some problems with the music being 4 seconds earlier or later than the performance? They are currently still trying to fix it. Meanwhile, for the people below who have not pay up, please pay to any exco by this coming friday 9 May latest.
