Hi dancers, we're gonna have a WD collar pin! :D Here are some of the designs that the dancers have come up with. Please vote for the one you guys want okay? The collar pin will ne 2.2-2.5cm and can have max 2 colours :S (school rules)

And there is a competition coming up REAL soon! The details are as follows:

Founded by Ryan Tan, The Royal Dance Off (TRDO) is an inaugural Modern Dance competition catered to the Youth sector. It focuses on the fusion of popular culture and dance genres like Contemporary, Jazz and Jazz Ballet. Through the amalgam of dances in the Fine Arts with popular culture, TRDO seeks to counter the stigmatization of certain genres for their misconceived inaccessibility. Thus, the commercial element in TRDO serves to establish dance as an influential tool for communication for the masses. TRDO prides itself in the excellence of technique and choreography. Hence, to build on the current youth talents, TRDO is proud of the esteemed judges and instructors involved in guiding the young dancers forth.

The Finals will be held on 4th June 2011 (Saturday) 7.30pm at Singapore Polytechnic Convention Centre. The teams have been chosen from the preliminary round and the standard of dance is applaudable even though it is only the first installation. Hence, I do encourage you to get your tickets soon from our official supporter, O School Ltd, at $15 each. If you are able to gather 20 or more students who are interested to watch the Finals, there will be a discount and tickets will be available at $10 each.
