Reporting time at NJC: 1.30pm at DS2 to do makeup and hair
Performance at Indoor Stadium: 4.45-10pm, lunch not provided- please bring $$ cus we will have it in school before meeting at 1.30pm. dinner and snacks provided.
Attire: Black NJWD(gold words) shirt, Zip Jacket.

Reminders:
Please remember to bring what is necessary according to the list given out!
Wear covered shoes.
Bring water!

Attendance:

All students must take transport from NJC and back to NJC, no exceptions.

If you are late, or have a valid reason for not coming for rehearsals, please sms /call Erika or Gloria immediately.

Attire and reporting time for everyday is posted at the bottom, 6th June post. Please check below.

*Bring your thermometers everyday for temperature taking. (No fake results.)

Costumes:

Girls, Your black bag should contain these:

Costume, batteries, golden headpiece, fan, pull-out prop. (Remember to wear leotard, nude for full dress rehearsals/actual day)

You will be provided with masking tape to write your name and school for easier identification.

Guys, your costume bag should contain your black coat. (Remember to bring jazz pants)

Please check for these regularly.

Any missing batteries, please let Si Ying or Kelly know asap.

(To all those who brought their costumes home to sew/ alter, please remember to BRING THEM BACK the next day!)

Everyone is responsible for their own costumes, so if there is anything wrong with yours, please take note of who to pass them to, to get them fixed.

Take Note:

1. NO slippers allowed.

2. Hair ALWAYS in a neat bun (with bun net, no excuses.)

3. If you did not order Nude leotards from ZiFang on week1, please make sure you have your nude leotards ready in good condition.

4. Bring water. (Indoor stadium has no Water Cooler, and we will not provide water, so please bring a BIG water bottle, ideally 1.5litres size)

5. Bring small snacks if you want. (Though we will provide snacks, such as bread and biscuits.)

6. Make up: Please have your own foundation, includes GUYS. (If you don’t have, please buy asap.) [It's best if you have your own other basic make-up (eyeliner, blush, lipgloss/lipstick). ]

Hello! Seniors eg Shiwei are from SMU and dance group Emix are having a hiphop showcase.

When: 9th July, Thurs, 8pm-10pm (approx)
Where: Butter Factory
Cost: $15 per ticket
Requirements: strictly 18 and above (yey for mee! ;p)

MUG HARD FOR CTs AND LETS GO FOR AYG.

**Common tests make-up for AYG participants

For SH1s and SH2s, please ask your respective tutors when your make-up tests for the subjects you're missing on 29th and 30th will be. They will most probably be in the common test week...(29th June to 3rd July)
You will be taking the tests with any other absentees for the common tests.

Update: The make-up tests will be in order of the CT line-up of papers. The confirmed sequence will be out earliest by the end of the bio paper next week.


As for the JHs, please ask your tutors as well!

The IS1103 makeup is likely to be on 2 july, tue, 2pm. But this is a tentative date as the teacher has to ensure that other excused students can also make it. Thus, the students should check the confirmed date and venue on KM or with their bio teachers during week 1.

HEY WESTERN DANCERS!

upcoming event for you to get on da stage and dance it out! :)


SMU is inviting any interested dance or band groups to perform at SMU's SEarch Party" Bazaar.
It would be held on Saturday 1st August 2009, from 12-8.30pm at SMU School of Information Systems. The bazaar comprises of performances, games/competitions and a flea market featuring products from local social enterprises & online shops as well as ad-hoc youth projects. For this bazaar, performances will mainly comprise of bands and dance performances from different schools, local professional groups as well as from the Social Enterprises themselves.

For dance groups: Duration of performance is 5-10 minutes
Theme: Although the bazaar is titled "SEarch Party", there is no theme for this bazaar, so its up to you to decide Currently

Rehearsal dates: Saturday 25th July and Friday 31st July, the night before the actual event.

We will be sending down a relay soon to allow you to indicate your interest in participating in this event, so look out for it :)

Jia you for common test!! :) an apple a day keeps the doctor away. likewise a papaya a day keeps the doctor away.

Take note of the time you are supposed to report! The time you need to report is quite a bit earlier than our rehearsal time because we need to reach Indoor Stadium earlier.
Time that the rehearsal ends is in blue.


**Please note from 25th to 29th June, EVERYONE(regardless of how near your house is from Indoor Stadium) has to report to NJC at the stated time above. This is because only authorised vehicles can enter Indoor Stadium and there are specific venues we need to go to.
(Only on the 24th those who want to make their way to SRJC by themselves can do so)
**Everyone has to take the transport back to NJ before going home as well.

Rest well these two weeks, don't fall sick and recap your steps!! Let's work hard together for AYG, it's going to be a great and memorable experience that you won't regret taking part in. :D
