There is a briefing by the councillors on the event itself. if you cant make it, inform me

2. Fri, 22 Aug, 4.45pm-8pm: Dry & Wet Tech Run
The person said it will be shorter than expected. yepp.

3. Wed, 27 Aug, 4-5.45pm: Full dress

Please take note of these dates, on top of our practices. as you can see, we really tight on schedule (plus the entire only 2-hrs/prac for 2 prac/week rule), so i really need you guys to clean up your steps well by yourself. if you cant make it for any of these, inform me ;p

Practice dates for this week:
Wed: 4.30-6.30, ds 1/2
Thurs: 4.30-6.30, ds1/2

Tentative practice dates for next week: Tue/Wed/Thurs (one of the two)

costumes: remember to get your costumes ready. if all is well, we might use costumes for fri's tech run.

since we only have 2 hours per session, please stretch before you attend practice, so that we can start prac right away. we have one more song to learn, so its gonna be done soon!

we can do this!! ;pp (oh but please remember to rest and mug. yeah.. its all about time management thingy ;(()

CCA RECORDS
Below are the Western Dance CCA records, please update accordingly (follow the PEARLS and CAAL categories listed). Please ensure that all the events in this list that you’ve participated in are keyed in (if not if you’ve missing records I can’t help you).
All IP1s and 2s please note that your CCA records are under the LEAPS system so don’t enter the PEARLS one given.


CIP RECORDS
This are the CIP records with the hours listed. Please note that these events are not to be keyed in under CCA but under CIP (so if you’ve keyed it in under CCA previously as we asked you to, please delete the entry and instead re-enter it under CIP). These CIP events are under the group “Heritage and the Arts”, and are not specifically stated to be under WD. To search for event, key in event name. Also, please note that some of the years for the events are abit jumbled up, so when searching for the event, don’t specify the year.

All those who are doing the MP Indranee Rajah’s National Day Dinner event on 2 August tomorrow, please take note of the details and some changes:


Venue: Cairnhill CC (opposite Newton Circus Hawker carpark.Red Civil defence park nearby there)

Rehersal on stage: 4pm

Time to report back: 1 hour before showtime (show starts at 7.20pm)

Time of performance: 9.40pm to 9.50pm



To those who are scholars, please seek your teacher for a blue slip.
To all please remember to bring costumes and make-up.
